Entry Fee: $0 Entry Fee. You WILL have to purchase a carload admission ticket for $33.90 for the night of December 15.
Judging: Exhibitors will have one hour, starting at 6:00pm, to decorate their gingerbread house. Judging will take place upon the conclusion of the one hour creation time.
Prize Checks: Prize checks will be mailed following the completion of the Festival of Lights.
Instructions:
- Exhibitors will need to be admitted into the walk-around experience before 5:45 PM to be eligible to compete.
- There is an entry form on our website. Please ensure that it is filled out. Exhibitors competing will be emailed prior to the competition with further instructions.
- Ages 5 & up are allowed to participate. Juniors are defined at 5-17. Non-Professional is defined as 18+ who do not actively sell items to the public. Professional is defined as someone who sells and makes items for a profit.
- The gingerbread house will be provided and pre-constructed by the Fairgrounds Festival of Lights. No outside material can be brought in. The house will be a real item.
- All houses decorated will become property of the Erie County Agricultural Society, producers of the Fairgrounds Festival of Lights. Judge Criteria: Creativity 70%, Usage of Items Provided 15%, General Appeal 15%
